LYD believes housing is a human right. LDY supports policies that protect tenants’ rights and eviction prevention. LYD supports programs that promote home ownership and dismantle the socioeconomic effects of gentrification and redlining. LYD supports policies that prevent the displacement and criminalization of the unhoused population.
LYD believes physical and mental healthcare is a human right. LYD supports access to reproductive healthcare for all people. LYD supports policies that reduce maternal mortality rates, especially among black women and other people of color.
