Get Involved

Membership is open to registered voters under 40 residing in Jefferson County.

The best way to become involved is by attending meetings and connecting with other Young Dems in our city. If you want to become a member, fill out the Membership Form and someone from our Board will reach out!

Most meetings are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to attend those. However, some meetings are specifically for voting members. The general rule is if a meeting doesn’t specifically mention certain criteria to attend, then you’re invited!

To become a board member, you must be a voting member of Louisville Young Democrats. Board applications open in November of each calendar year, and the board is elected in December. Board positions are a 12 month commitment running from March to February. We’ll announce on social media when people can begin applying for the next board term.

Sign up on our membership form to get added to our email list so that you can stay up to date about what events are going on. The sign up forms or Mobilize links are attached for each event when you can sign up to let us know you’re coming!
