Louisville Young Democrats (“LYD”) is committed to ensuring access to our training and resources for the widest possible audience, regardless of technology, ability, or personal circumstance. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant standards to ensure accessibility.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Louisvilleyoungdems.com is mostly conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Louisvilleyoungdems.com supports modern mobile and desktop web browsers as old as IE11. Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we may have some elements that we’re still working on to become fully compliant. Additionally we are working on applying this standard to all video content in 2024.
